Driving Seamus

Some of you might remember the pictures of Seamus (pronounced Shay-mus) the Vet School's Draft Horse in older posts. He is a nine year old Shire. We went out last week for a fun ride in the Vet School Wagon.

Here's Lily enjoying the wagon ride...in style!

Madi loves to go see Seamus!

Here we are in the wagon with some of the other vet students in the Draft Horse Club.

Our good buddy Todd Gunderson has worked a ton with Seamus. He is doing really awesome and Todd's hard work paid off since Seamus was able to do a demo for the Vet School's Open House this year.

Driving Seamus around the track.

Josh imitating Lily's "scrunch-nose" face she makes.

Todd let Madi come up front to help hold the reigns for a bit. Thanks Todd...she loved it!

Here's Madi working on holding the reigns and giving Seamus different commands like "walk out" and "whoa."

We love coming out to the track to see Seamus. It was especially enjoyable since the weather was beautiful!
