Pullman Fire Station!

On Friday we met up at the Pullman Fire Department for a tour of the building and vehicles for Seth Ritter's (a little boy in our ward) birthday party. I think I was more excited to go since I've never been in a fire station and seen a fire truck up close.
It took Madi a good 30 minutes to warm up to everything and everyone. Once she did, she really liked being there. She is standing next to the tire of the fire truck in this picture.

Here is Lily standing on the steps of one of the ambulances they had parked in the garage.

This lady showed us all her "bunker gear". They have their boots built into their pants to make dressing go even faster...someone needs to design that for kids! One of the little girls in our ward named Claire Yancey asked her why her boots weren't pink. The gal replied that they wouldn't match her outfit if they were pink...it was really funny!

After the tour was over all the kids got hats and a fire chief sticker, which Madi wore the rest of the day, and a coloring book.
We all went over to Seth's house after for pizza and cupcakes!

Nice work. You can't argue with the fact that fire trucks are cool.
